Seventh album by Kate Bush, released by EMI Records on 2 November 1993. The Red Shoes is a continuation of Bush's multi-layered and multiple musical pursuits and interests and includes a number of musical guests ranging from Procol Harum keyboardist Gary Brooker and Eric Clapton to Prince, but this is very much a Kate Bush album straight up as opposed to a collaborative work.

The Prodigal Stranger is the tenth studio album by Procol Harum, released in 1991. The album is dedicated to the memory of Barrie James (B. J.) Wilson, who had been the drummer on all of the group's previous albums. Recorded after a 14-year break, even singer Gary Brooker was uncertain whether or not the sessions would work out for the band: "We never knew if it would work out, but we did know one thing and that was that the basis of us making the new Procol Harum record would be if we could get together a good set of songs…it was very like making a first album."…

Procol Harum - Live At The Union Chapel 2004 (DVD5)/ Singles A's & B's 2002(2CD)

Procol Harum - Live at the Union Chapel is a record of the final performance of the band's 2003 world tour, taped on December 12 before a small London crowd. The venue was an inspired choice. As a performance space, the Gothic church is at once both intimate and grand, a perfect mirror for the band's odd but cogent mix of bar-band boogie and classically tinged prog rock. The 21-song concert includes eight selections from The Well's on Fire, Procol Harum's 2003 studio album.
Audio: Original German compilation featuring 57 tracks (3 CD). Highlights include, 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale', 'Lime Street Blues', 'Homburg', 'Good Captain Clack', 'Il Tuo Diamanta', 'Fortuna', 'Quite Rightly So', 'In The Small Hours Of Sixpence', 'Quite Rightly So' & 'Rambling On'. Digipak. Packaged in a trifold digipak. 2002. Repertoire.

Excellent addition to any prog rock music collection.
There are a lot of people who'll champion the Grand Hotel album, but as far as I'm concerned, it is Exotic Birds And Fruit that is the most complete album in the latter half of Procol Harum's career.

Gary Brooker and the latter-day Procol Harum – featuring Matthew Fisher on Hammond organ, Mark Brzezcki on drums, Geoff Whitehorn on guitar, and Matt Pegg on bass – do an exceptionally good set on this DVD from Classic Pictures, which captures them in concert in Copenhagen, Denmark in December of 2001. By the time of this show, the core of this lineup of the group had been working together for more than a decade, which is longer than the original band was together (even if you counted their years together in the Paramounts from the early '60s), so it's no surprise that they have a lean, tight sound.

This whole album was an afterthought – Procol Harum had been invited to play a concert with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Da Camera Singers in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in August of 1971, at the tail-end of their last tour with Robin Trower in the lineup. Amid all of the preparation – including the writing of new orchestral arrangements by Gary Brooker and with a new lead guitarist, Dave Ball, just joining the lineup – Brooker decided that it might be a good idea to preserve a professionally made tape of the show and suggested that A&M Records, to which they were signed, might want to record the performance; the label agreed with just a week to go until the concert.

Procol Harum's seventh studio album, Exotic Birds and Fruit, was released in April 1974. In its original LP incarnation, four songs made up side one – "Nothing But the Truth," "Beyond the Pale," "As Strong as Samson," and "The Idol" – all of which featured some of the band's best later work. They had retreated somewhat from the orchestral hybrid of their previous album, Grand Hotel, although "Nothing But the Truth" still boasted a string arrangement.

They replaced the sweetening with extra muscle in the remaining instruments, making this one of the group's harder rocking sets. And lyricist Keith Reid, having explored elegant decay in Grand Hotel, was unusually straightforward in his social prescriptions here.
