"Fly From Here" is the twentieth studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes. "Fly From Here" encompasses YES’ signature brand of mysticism and grand-scale compositions. Maintaining a complex, symphonic sound that features the beautiful harmonies and strong heavy riffs they are known for. "Fly From Here" was first released on 22 June 2011 in Japan and France, followed by releases on 1 July in the rest of Europe and Australia and on 12 July in the United States. It peaked at number 30 on the UK Albums Chart, and number 36 on the US Billboard 200.

Shortly after Art Pepper's death in 1982, JVC Records in Japan began issuing a series of titles of the great saxophonist's performances in Japan. This set, recorded in 1979, was compiled from two different July performances and features the classic Pepper quartet with pianist George Cables, drummer Billy Higgins, and the great Tony Dumas on bass. Pepper played only alto on the dates, and these five tunes offer a portrait of the musician at the very top of his form and very inspired…

Fifth Note is a new signing from the Frontiers label and is another band which is based in the Northeast region of India based in Kohima, the capital state of Nagaland. The group was started in the middle of 2019 evolving from the original foundations of a Christian themed band, though now they draw most of their musical influences from the secular Progressive Metal and classic old school Hard Rock genres of music. While Progressive Music can run the risk of being self-indulgent, Fifth Note manage to offer a sort of primal urge in their music still offering very catchy melodies and a very polished sound.

Dreamtide features the guitarist and chief songwriter from Fair Warning - Helge Engelke, along with he fellow band mates Torsten Luderwald (keyboards) and drummer CC Behrens. Rounding out this new band is vocalist Olaf Senkbeil (backing vox, Blind Guardian and ex-Jack's Hammer) & bassist Ole Hempelmann (Thunderhead). As expected, Dreamtide's sound relies heavily on the influences of Fair Warning and that band's unique flair for big tempo, big production sounding European hard rock.

The vast majority of these are established in the standard repertoire but are presented here in a different guise by tenor Christoph Prégardien and the Ensemble Kontraste. The impressive Prégardien has a distinct baritonal quality to his lower register. Across the scores the concept of the Wanderer from German Romantic literature is a constant theme that works superbly well.
