In The Name of The Goddess

Classical archaeology—the excavation and analysis of ancient Greek and Roman sites—was born on Wednesday, October 22, 1738. On that day, Roque Joaquín Alcubierre, an engineer in the army of the Bourbon royal family in Naples, was lowered by ropes down a square well shaft cut through volcanic material that had formed on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.

With the name of the band being derived from the Greek goddess of both war and wisdom, it has always been fitting that much of the band’s music has involved themes of war. To mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of ‘The Great War’ Graeme has written ‘Courage’ assisted by Niall on guitars. We have compiled a free download album featuring ‘Courage ‘ and other songs of War and Peace curated from the band’s archives.

At the dawn of a new era we are drawn to modern Goddess spirituality. Rae Beth feels the world can change by sharing our personal spiritual experiences with each other. She has gone within herself for this book of recollections, inner guidance and ancient teachings (which was originally published as Reincarnation and the Dark Goddess).
