Guitarists Stanley Jordan and Kevin Eubanks team up for the 2015 Mack Avenue release Duets. An intimate, relaxed album, Duets features the esteemed journeyman artists playing both acoustic and electric instruments on a handful of classic standards, originals, and newer pop tunes. Rather than a cutting session, Duets works more as a laid-back conversation in which both musicians revel in the warmth of each other's sound. While they share a similar style, favoring a clean, unaffected approach to the guitar, there are enough differences in each player's sounds to easily distinguish them on a given track.

Romane is not only one of the greatest French guitarists, he is also one of the most prolific composers of gypsy-jazz. But at heart he remains very much a musician whose desire is to communicate and share his love of the genre. He has written music manuals and also founded his own music school, the Romane Swing Academy. Here he plays with his two sons, Pierre and Richard Manetti, both of whom are also superb guitarists. Guitar Family Connection contains all the musical virtues one expects from such a tightly-knit group. The way they listen to each other, alternately taking the lead with respect, shows how a family can play with one musical heart.

In 2012 and 2013 Smith traveled to 11 countries around the globe performing music from his 13 releases and collaborating with a group of international all-stars on “Tangos” – the deepest and most engaging release of his career.

Jazz guitarist Gerry Beaudoin has carved out a career as a leader, arranger and guitarist. First with the Boston Jazz Ensemble, then through his two award winning Gerry Beaudoin Trio recordings with mandolin titan, David Grisman and now with the New Guitar Summit which features Gerry alongside blues icon Duke Robillard and rock star turned jazz guitarist Jay Geils from the J.Geils Band.The award winning guitarist, ( 1992 NAIRD AWARD FOR BEST JAZZ RECORDING , 1993 and 1995 CADENCE EDITORS CHOICE AWARD, 1998 "submission for consideration for a Grammy nomination" ) has continued to seek out more challenging musical situations…

As filmed in November 2006, the music release Al Di Meola: Speak a Volcano - Return to Electric Guitar finds jazz-rock musician Di Meola onstage before a live audience in Leverkusen, Germany, in an electric guitar set accompanied by drummer Gumbi Ortiz. Here, Di Meola performs thirteen tracks including "Hypnose," "Red Moon" and "Azzura."

Guitarist, composer, and recording artist Geordie Kelly began playing guitar at age 12, and by age 15 he was playing in local rock bands. He was exposed to great music early in life because he grew up in a musically rich household hearing all the great soul and R&B artists such as Ray Charles in his father's record collection and everything from Bach to Dylan in his mother's record collection. He is a graduate of both East Carolina University (BM) and the University of Kentucky (MA) music programs where he pursued guitar and jazz studies to the fullest.
