John Daversa

American Dreamers: Voices of Hope, Music of Freedom is a studio album by the John Daversa Big Band and produced by Kabir Sehgal and Doug Davis, released on September 21,2018. The album was recorded with more than 50 singers and musicians who entered America as children. Daversa intended the album as a message to politicians to protect immigrants. The album has been described as "invigorating" and "one of, if not the most, important musical statements across several genres this year aimed at bringing unity and healing divisiveness".

Violinist Regina Carter is a highly original soloist whose sophisticated technique and rich, lush tone took the jazz world by pleasant surprise when she arrived in New York from her native Detroit. And jazz fans weren't the only people who heard that mercurial quality in her playing: artists as diverse as Faith Evans, Elliot Sharp, and Mary J. Blige have employed her talents on their recordings, as has filmmaker Ken Burns on his soundtrack for The Civil War.

Contemporary jazz ensemble Yellowjackets' 2011 Mack Avenue debut, Timeline features the band's longstanding knack for straddling the line between smooth jazz and more cerebral post-bop stuff. Marking the group's 30 years in the business, the album is a perfect mix of low-key, soulful moments and more funky, angular jazz.

Pawel Orlow - musician, arranger, composer from Minsk, Belarus. During his career he played with J.D. Walter, Bob Sheppard, John Daversa, Vinx, Anti Sarpilla etc. From 2013 till 2016 worked in Georgy Garanian big band from Krasnodar. In the spring of 2017 he released his debut jazz-fusion album "To The Moon" in the recording of which took part Konstantin Goryachy - keys, Ben Stone - drums, Igor Mishura - tenor sax.
