Lost

Exactly one year after the successful album "Blood & Glitter" (#1 in the Official German Album Charts), Lord Of The Lost are releasing the first cover album in the band's history: Weapons Of Mass Seduction will be released at the end of December 2023 via Napalm Records.

Employing a sinister blend of goth-metal and dark industrial rock, Germany's Lord of the Lost was founded in 2007 by vocalist/guitarist Chris Harms, who had previously fronted Hamburg-based gloom-rockers Philiae. The group released its first studio LP, Fears, in 2010, with Antagony arriving the following year.

The band's style mixed country, rock and roll, Western swing, rockabilly, and jump blues together on a foundation of boogie-woogie piano. They were among the first country rock bands to take its cues less from folk rock and bluegrass and more from the rowdy barroom country of the Ernest Tubb and Ray Price style. The band became known for marathon live shows.

For the sessions in New York though, instead of an orchestra or ready-made arrangements accompanying Monro, they chose the songs and did all the arrangements as they went along – head arrangements, as they are known. The band was made up of just five musicians - a pianist, bassist, drummer and two guitarists, who both played a mixture of electric and acoustic guitars.The majority of the recordings made over the week were from relatively new musicals, many running in Broadway theatres at the time of the recording, aside from "Stranger In Paradise," which dated from the early 1950s. Seeing as Monro was there, musical director Dave Cavanaugh took the opportunity to lay down a couple of tracks written by Richard Ahlert for possible single release, which had no Broadway show connections.

is a year-long comic book limited series written by Keith Giffen (until issue #6 after which he left) and Judd Winick, premiering in May 12, 2010. It will run twice a month (or biweekly) for 24 issues, alternating with , with the artwork for the contents and the covers being done by a rotating team of artists. The series focuses on the Justice League International (or JLI, last seen during the 1990's)--specifically the characters Booster Gold, Captain Atom, Jaime Reyes (the third Blue Beetle), Fire, Ice, and Rocket Red--and their hunt for Maxwell Lord, influential in the formation of the JLI and who, as among those villains resurrected during the event, is now more powerful than ever. That this series is a tie-in to is evident on the comic book cover itself. All high-quality Minutemen scans, and all with two covers from issue #5 up to the current issue #17.
