Rendons immédiatement ce qui revient à ce trio de Québec qui a fait du jazz manouche un bonheur contagieux : il a du cran. Et du talent. Rendez-Vous Rose le prouve une fois de plus. Formé de Christian Roberge (voix et guitare), Byron Mikaloff (guitare) et Alex Morrissette (contrebasse), le groupe a été l’une des révélations du printemps dernier au Québec. Avec comme carte de visite le coloré et entraînant disque Lost in the 80’s, les trois musiciens se sont rapidement forgés une impressionnante horde de fans.
Very original group from Quebec, sort of modern "Gypsy Kings" with more humour and virtuosity. Pretty surprising in all aspects :)

The Lost Fingers is a Canadian gypsy jazz (French: jazz manouche) music group based in Quebec City. Its members are Alex Morissette (backing vocals, double bass), Dr. Christian "Dirt" Roberge (lead vocals, guitar), and Byron "Maiden" Mikaloff (backing vocals, guitar). Lost in the 80s, their 2008 debut album, earned a platinum certification for sales of 100,000 within Quebec alone within 12 weeks of its release. Canadian distribution outside Quebec began on 27 January 2009, after which the album's sales reached 200,000. Internationally, Lost in the 80's has been released in over eight countries including the USA, Belgium, France, Mexico, Switzerland and Spain.

With all the 4, 5, 6 and 7 GB games out there its nice to see a game released by a major group which comes in a smaller package every once in a while. Lost Empire which was released a few minutes ago is only 595 MB, so lets hope the gameplay is good. The installation process looks to be as simple as it gets with a cracked release. Lets just hope it actually works and ViTALiTY don’t have to come up with a crackfix. In any case this turn based strategy game looks like it might be popular at least with hardcore Strategy fans. Set in space, Lost Empire: Immortals features 6 playable races, each with their own storyline who battle for domination of a vast empire. Players are able to research technologies from a multilevel science tree as well as use the leaders of their empire as diplomats, space engineers, archeologist and more.
