Mobile Brain–Body Imaging and the Neuroscience of Art, Innovation and Creativity is a trans-disciplinary, collective, multimedia collaboration that critically uncovers the challenges and opportunities for transformational and innovative research and performance at the nexus of art, science and engineering.

The 19 revised full papers and 8 revised short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in the book. Special focus is given to human individual, group, and distributed cognition as well as artificial intelligence applied to the design and testing of graphically rich systems: smart design, smart systems, and systems for smart users. The papers are organized in topical sections on intelligent text processing, perceptive systems, smart visualization, visual features, sketching and graphical abstraction, intelligent image and film composing, as well as smart interaction.

Large-scale video networks are of increasing importance in a wide range of applications. However, the development of automated techniques for aggregating and interpreting information from multiple video streams in real-life scenarios is a challenging area of research.
