Morning Trip

Black Box Recorder were an English indie rock/electronic group. They debuted in 1998 with England Made Me and followed this up with The Facts of Life, which gave them their first hit with the single of the same name in April 2000. Their third album, Passionoia, was released in 2003. There is also a compilation album, The Worst of Black Box Recorder, a collection of B-sides, cover versions and remixes. Collection includes all studio albums and one compilation 'The Worst Of Black Box Recorder: The Complete B-side Collection'.

A beautiful album, with floating percussion and dreamlike strings and piano. Michael is a great multi-instrumentalist who infuses every song with pure feeling. Beautifully crafted and it exudes a simple calming joy that washes its way into your soul. Overall an inspirational and moving album with heart-felt music that touches the listener right from the start.

Hani's subsequent work, Morning Schedule , combines his interest in contemporary youth with his continued interest in modern women. The story deals with two high school girls who decide to take a trip together.

Crosstalk is a compilation project put together by Mendi and Keith Obadike, released by Bridge Records and released in 2008, the CD is subtitled Blurred Boundaries In American Speech Music and features different variations of spoken word with artists who have made it their works of art, including Ursula Rucker, Guillermo E. brown, Tracie Morris, and rapper Mike Ladd.
