Spider Classic

As mentioned in my (posted in Avaxhome by yours truly), after the multi-issue Ultimatum crossover event, Marvel Comics' entire Ultimate imprint will be relaunched under the "Ultimate Comics" brand. is this brand's very first title to be released and this is its very first issue (next is Ultimate Comics Avengers #1, to be posted hereafter). And with no less than Eisner Award-winner Brian Michael Bendis and a new artist on board. Here's to hoping this new ongoing series will turn out OK...

Was sick, am now back with my favorite, the flagship series of Marvel Comics' most identifiable superhero. True believers everywhere are on the edge of their seats with issue #599, the conclusion to the 5-part story arc "American Son" that paves the way for #600!

As the title of this 4-issue miniseries suggests, this book is all about Venom, who is currently masquerading as Spider-Man as part of the Marvel Universe's "Dark Reign" status quo. Despite that limited-sounding set-up, writer Brian Reed manages to get a lot of mileage out of Venom's misadventures as a would-be superhero, whilst also setting up several interesting plot threads to be explored in future issues.

n is the flagship title of Marvel Comics' most identifiable superhero character, first appearing in the comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962). Issue #596 is the 2nd of the 5-part story arc entitled "American Son."

The Alfa Romeo 105 series Spider is one of the most admired drop-head sports cars to come out of Italy. Launched in 1966, its radical new look was not immediately welcomed. As prospective buyers gradually warmed to the model, enhancements were introduced including more powerful engines and higher-spec body and interior fittings. Despite its inauspicious start, production of this much-admired car lasted for twenty-seven years, finally stopping in 1993. Jim Talbott and Andrew Brown pay homage to the 105/115 series Alfa Spider.

Spider Rockets combines contemporary loud rock with classic rock elements. The New Jersey-based band travels the sonic spectrum from dark and seductive to energetic to angry, with a dynamic live show and scream-along anthems.
