is a five-issue comic book limited series from Marvel Comics written by David Lapham and illustrated by Tony Harris, which premiered on January 9, 2008. Starring Marvel's flagship character, it takes place in between two single panels found in , Spider-Man's historic first appearance. By focusing on a time period usually brushed aside in many retellings of the classic origin, writer David Lapham and artist Tony Harris are able to take what is basically a page's worth of story and turn it into a funny and insightful examination of Spider-Man's formative days, focusing on the period between the accident that gave Peter Parker superhuman powers and the murder of his Uncle Ben. It was published under Marvel's Marvel Knights imprint in order to avoid any links to current continuity. One of those rare occasions when an idea that would seem to be quite long shot somehow comes together and works beautifully, no doubt because of Lapham and Harris.

or a was a major story arc in Marvel Comics which ran from 1994 to 1996 involving many clones of Spider-Man. The story is considered within fandom to be one of the most controversial stories ever told for Spider-Man if not in the comics industry as a whole. The story was intended to wrap up in less than a year. However, the comics sold very well and the writers were encouraged to prolong the saga as long as possible. This led to some changes to the storyline that ultimately proved unpopular. To me there's only one word to describe it: shtoo-pid. That's what happens when creativity and creative freedom is thrown out the window because of greed. is the new six-part mini-series based on the outline of the original Clone Saga. Written by Tom DeFalco and Howard Mackie, and drawn by Todd Nauck, this "writer's cut" mini-series will explore the story as it was originally conceived, and will feature the original conclusion while focusing on the basics of the original saga.
