On May 18, AOP Records released the debut album "Blues For A Dying Planet" by the Swedish quintet Spiral Skies. We're honoured that swedish 70s rock music quintet Spiral Skies join forces with AOP Records. Spiral Skies was formed in Stockholm in spring 2014. Consisting of musicians with different musical influences they found themselves sharing the same passion for the 70´s genuine rock and heavy metal music, which led to a creative songwriting progress that developed into something that can only be described as “On other planets kinda rock”. An unique blend of folk, doom and 70s rock music. The band has been compared to band such as Jefferson Airplane, Curved Air and The Devil's Blood, to name a few. The band has spellbound their audience with their unique visual performance with intense and enchanting live shows.

Born in Italy in 2001, Elia Cecino began his studies at 9 with prof. Maddalena De Facci and at 17 graduated 'Summa cum Laude' at Cesena Conservatory as a private student. In 2020 he achieved the Specialization Diploma of the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella with Andrzej Jasinski and he is now studying with Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.

Irish by birth, John Field gained an international reputation as one of the finest pianists of his time, with an influential delicacy and nuance in his playing that is expressed in his innovative and poetically lyrical Nocturnes. Field’s earlier Sonatas are more classical in feel, but their sense of flow and dramatic narrative exhibit qualities that are developed and given added virtuoso panache in his fine Piano Concertos, works admired by Liszt, Chopin and Schumann. ‘Benjamin Frith has done a stellar job in bringing these concertos into the sunlight, brilliantly supported by the Northern Sinfonia under David Haslam’ (Pianist magazine).
