Nashville, TN—When progressive rock icon Neal Morse was preparing to tour his highly acclaimed 2012 studio release, “Momentum,” he turned to YouTube to audition touring players to support his faithful duo of Mike Portnoy (drums) and Randy George (bass). He had high hopes, but the final players selected from more than 70 applicants dramatically surpassed his expectations. They hit the road for an 8-stop North American tour. And now that band’s epic New York performance is captured on the new “Live Momentum” 2DVD/3CD Box Set.

In this performance of Handel's best-loved oratorio, conductor Christopher Hogwood returns to the original performance traditions. The choruses are sung by boy trebles and male altos, tenors and basses, and member of the Choir of Westminster Abbey. The soloists improvise embellishments in the arias and, in certain cases, join in the singing of the choruses - just as they would have done 240 years ago. In addition, Members of the Academy all play instruments of the period or accurate modern copies.

2CELLOS new DVD, Live at Arena Zagreb, is an exhilarating live performance filmed in their Croatian homeland to a sold-out audience of over 25,000 fans. Accompanied by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the concert includes songs from their self titled debut album as well as their internationally acclaimed second release, IN2ITION. The DVD features 2CELLOS' massive YouTube hits, "Smooth Criminal" and "Welcome to the Jungle," along with a trio of their popular renditions of AC/DC songs "Back in Black," "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Highway to Hell." Rounding out the set are their unique covers of songs from Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Sting plus classical repertoire that showcases their unsurpassed virtuosity. Also included is a bonus Behind-the- Scenes feature.

Over the last few years, Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhausorchester have recorded a Bruckner symphony cycle, pairing each work with orchestral music by Wagner. DG now presents their complete Bruckner/Wagner recordings in a 10-CD box and digitally, including Dolby Atmos versions. The set also features the artists’ previously unreleased recordings of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 0 (the so-called “Nullte”) and the overtures to Wagner’s Rienzi and Der fliegende Holländer.

Just as the title says, the 2001 Deep Purple DVD, New, Live & Rare: The Video Collection 1984-2000, collects all of the legendary British metal band's promo videos as well as scattered live clips from their 1984 reunion up to the time of this DVD's release. As longtime fans know, Deep Purple's true glory days lay in the early '70s, when they dropped such classic molten metal releases as In Rock, Fireball, and Machine Head on an unsuspecting world. And while its bandmembers have kept Purple alive well into the new millennium (despite line-up juggling), most of the newer material on New, Live & Rare doesn't hold a candle to the band's earlier classics.

The Music For Montserrat concert was the brainchild of Sir George Martin in response to the plight of the people of Montserrat following a volcanic eruption on the island.The concert was held at the Royal Albert Hall on September 15th 1997 and Sir George Martin pulled together a stellar line up of artists including Phil Collins, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney.
