is a comic book series created by writer Bill Willingham, published by DC Comics's Vertigo imprint beginning in 2002. The series deals with various characters from fairy tales and folklore--referring to themselves as "Fables"--who have been forced out of their Homelands by "The Adversary" who has conquered the realm. The Fables have traveled to our world and formed a clandestine community in New York City known as Fabletown. Fables who are unable to blend in with human society (such as monsters and anthropomorphic animals) live at "the Farm" in upstate New York. Willingham reinterprets the characters and infuses his tales with elements current and relevant to our times. As of last year Fables has won 12 Eisner Awards, and the artists involved an additional 13 more, making it the most awarded among current book titles. IGN calls it the best comic book currently being produced. Its reviewer Jesse Schedeen says of Issue #14: "...the core series is extremely engrossing and as exciting as it's ever been. Issue #88 was one of the best I've read in a long time, and issue #89 is even better still." He gives issue #14 an Outstanding 9.1 rating and an Editors' Choice Award.

Fables - The Wolf Among Us v01 (2015)
English | CBR | 223 pages | 282.35 MB

Based on the best-selling video game Fables: The Wolf Among Us!
Bigby Wolf used to break every law in the books. Now, as the sheriff of Fabletown-New York City's magically concealed neighborhood of mythical, legendary and fairy tale figures-he is the law, and keeping the streets safe for Fables and Mundanes alike is his beat. So when a beautiful princess-turned-prostitute is decapitated on his watch, Bigby must unleash the wolf within to catch the killer. There's certainly no shortage of suspects. Was it Mister Toad, whose wild ride has brought him to the end of the road? Was it the Woodsman, who's been a pain in the axe ever since little Red put on a hood and rode through the woods? Was it Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, the towering twin goons-for-hire? Or maybe Grendel, the man-monster who's been causing trouble since before Beowulf could grow a beard?
With the help of Snow White, his only friend, and Mayor Ichabod Crane, his longtime enemy, Bigby must crack the case soon. He may be the law, but some people can't wait to break him…
