"40/40: The Best Selection" is a double compilation album by English-born Australian pop singer Olivia Newton-John. The album is set to be released 13 October 2010, simultaneously with the box set 40th Anniversary Collection. This compilation has been specially created for the Japanese market and has been remastered by Universal Music Japan and pressed on SHM-CD for ultimate clarity. The songs were selected by votes from Japanese fans for a limited release edition that includes a bonus track "Come on Home".

It is also the only Elton John album to not have any tracks co-written by Bernie Taupin on the original cut. The album was released on 16 October 1978 by MCA in America, and by Rocket in the UK. Singles from the album were "Part-Time Love", October 1978; "Song for Guy", November 1978; and "Return to Paradise", 1979. "Song for Guy" was a near-global success, charting high everywhere except the US and Canada, where John's label, MCA Records, did not feel that it had hit potential. "A Single Man" was John's first album ever to be officially released in the former USSR. In the US, A Single Man was certified Gold in October 1978 and Platinum in November of the same year by the RIAA. Like with many of John's releases of the late-70s and the 1980s, it received generally mixed reviews from critics.

The album was released on the Pye International label in the UK as "Olivia Newton-John", with slightly different covers. As a covers album, If Not for You features mostly songs previously recorded from contemporary artists of 1960s and early 1970s. She made several performances to promote "If Not For You" and her follow-up album, "Olivia", including an international tour with British singer Cliff Richard. It was her first album released by Festival Records, which would release all her albums in Australia until its dissolution in 2005. "Let Me Be There" is the 3rd studio album album by Olivia Newton-John, released in 1973. It consisted of her performances of a collection of 11 cover songs, plus "Let Me Be There", a new song first recorded by Newton-John herself. Outside the United States, it was called "Music Makes My Day" and it was published in the United Kingdom by Pye International, with some different songs, including the noted song "Music Makes My Day" a non-US release. It was produced by Bruce Welch, John Farrar and Alan Hawkshaw.

48 Original Tracks is a greatest hits album by Olivia Newton-John that was released in 1994, it is the most extensive compilation of her early material launched for the singer. This collection includes three rarities - "Would You Follow Me", "Maybe Then I'll Think Of You" and "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye", which didn't appear on any of Olivia's studio album.
