Intelligent Control: A Hybrid Approach Based on Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms

Intelligent Control: A Hybrid Approach Based on Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms by Nazmul Siddique
English | EPUB | 2014 | 292 Pages | ISBN : 3319021346 | 4.28 MB

Intelligent Control considers non-traditional modelling and control approaches to nonlinear systems. Fuzzy logic, neural networks and evolutionary computing techniques are the main tools used. The book presents a modular switching fuzzy logic controller where a PD-type fuzzy controller is executed first followed by a PI-type fuzzy controller thus improving the performance of the controller compared with a PID-type fuzzy controller. The advantage of the switching-type fuzzy controller is that it uses one rule-base thus minimises the rule-base during execution.

Fuzzy Logic, Identification and Predictive Control by Jairo Espinosa
English | PDF | 2005 | 274 Pages | ISBN : 1852338288 | 4.07 MB

The complexity and sensitivity of modern industrial processes and systems increasingly require adaptable advanced control protocols. These controllers have to be able to deal with circumstances demanding "judgement" rather than simple "yes/no", "on/off" responses, circumstances where an imprecise linguistic description is often more relevant than a cut-and-dried numerical one. The ability of fuzzy systems to handle numeric and linguistic information within a single framework renders them efficacious in this form of expert control system.

Active Structural Control with Stable Fuzzy PID Techniques by Wen Yu
English | PDF | 2016 | 129 Pages | ISBN : 3319280244 | 5.6 MB

This book presents a detailed discussion of intelligent techniques to measure the displacement of buildings when they are subjected to vibration. It shows how these techniques are used to control active devices that can reduce vibration 60–80% more effectively than widely used passive anti-seismic systems.
