This LP needs no introduction. If you're looking into this,you already know the deal.
Why another rip? I do not intend to demean the other member's rip of the same LP at the same resolution.
Here is the difference : this LP was recorded using a LINEAR TRACKING TURNTABLE as opposed to a pivot arm one.
This reduces inner groove distortion considerably.
I also use a very decent good elliptical stylus, the Ortofon OM20.

Released on 7th November, 1969, Pink Floyd’s fourth album Ummagumma is a disorienting head trip of an album: one part live recordings, the other a bizarre, psychedelic and rather cinematic collection of solo experiments. The first disc’s purely instrumental concerts stem from Birmingham’s Mothers Club and Manchester’s College of Commerce and were recorded earlier that year.

The Pink Floyd of the late 1980s was an altogether different proposition to the band that had grown to prominence since the late 1960s.

It's an eyebrow-raising experience to encounter the cover of "River Deep, Mountain High" that opens the Animals 1968 album, Love Is.

For his first solo album Wright assembled some of the backing musicians who had been accompanying Pink Floyd for years, in particular reed player Mel Collins and guitarist Snowy White. So it was no surprise that the resulting record, Wet Dream, sounded like outtakes from Pink Floyd sessions…

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary year of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’, Roger Waters announces the release of his homage to the original, ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux’ Waters says ‘when we recorded the stripped down songs for the Lockdown Sessions, the 50th anniversary of the release of The Dark Side Of The Moon was looming on the horizon. It occurred to me that The Dark Side Of The Moon could well be a suitable candidate for a similar re-working, partly as a tribute to the original work, but also to re-address the political and emotional message of the whole album.

By the time of David Gilmour's solo debut, he had not only established himself several times over as an underrated, powerful guitarist in Pink Floyd, but as a remarkably emotional singer, his soothing approach perfectly suited to such songs as "Wish You Were Here.

When originally released, post Pink Floyd's 'Animals' (1977) and shortly before 'The Wall' (1979), 'Wet Dream' was largely under-appreciated.

Pink Floyd founder member and keyboardist Richard Wright’s debut solo album, Wet Dream, is to be reissued in July. The album has been remixed by Steven Wilson in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo for this release. The original mix does not feature on any of the three physical formats and all the new mixes include some extra passages of music that were edited out of the original.
