Mind Blowers: Psychedelic Passages Volume One is a compilation album originally released in 1983 by White Rabbit Records. While this was a volume one, only one album was ever released. The music was not officially licensed by any labels who originally released it or who owned the rights then so for all intents and purposes, this is an unofficial release. The strength of the album lead to it being unofficially released on CD by Past & Present Records, which may be the same as White Rabbit, but no one ever says things like this. The songs represent recordings released between 1966 and 1967.

For their third and certainly best record the classically inspired New York Rock And Roll Ensemble recruited Greek composer and songwriter Manos Hadjidakis. The resulting Reflections plays like a film score–not surprisingly, given Hadjidakis's experience as a composer of just such works–with epic instrumental sweeps and passages of quiet melancholy. Many of the tracks, such as "Orpheus," "The Day," and "Kemal," incorporate the folk melodies of Hadjidakis's homeland while maintaining a baroque psychedelic touch.

Very rare collection of psychedelic bands launched in 1994 under the seal "Timothy's Brain", with very dark material so far. Recordings are usually from the discs in the form of vinyl with some imperfections as "pops and clicks" but it is worth knowing this CD out of the print for several years.

The Western world was in the throes of peace, love and flower power as Nigeria descended into Civil War in 1967. The rock scene that developed during the following three years of bloodshed and destruction would come to heal the country, propagate the world-wide ideal of the Modern Nigerian, and propel Fela to stardom after conflict ended in 1970. Wake Up You! tells the story of this time, pays homage to these now-forgotten musicians and their struggle, and brings to light the funk and psychedelic fury they created as they wrested free of the ravages of the late 1960s and created thrilling, original Nigerian rock music throughout the 1970s.

There was time in the late '70s and early '80s when inner suburban Melbourne was churning out as much world class rock 'n' roll as it ever has. Bands like The Sports, Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and Paul Kelly & The Dots could pack out venues like Bombay Rock or The Venue for nights on end. The songs coming out of Melbourne were strong and often about the city itself. Skyhooks sung about the sun setting over Carlton, The Sports would sing about going down to the cop shop on Russell Street and a little later, Paul Kelly would name check St. Kilda and other quirks of Melbourne suburbia.
