Live Aid was a benefit concert held on Saturday 13 July 1985, as well as a music-based fundraising initiative. The original event was organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the 1983–1985 famine in Ethiopia. Billed as the "global jukebox", the event was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, attended by about 72,000 people and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, US, attended by 89,484 people.

2019 marks the 30th anniversary of THE CULT's seminal album "Sonic Temple". To celebrate the anniversary, Beggars Arkive will release "The Cult: Sonic Temple 30" on September 13. It will be released as a deluxe box set and a 5-CD set, plus the label will reissue "Sonic Temple" on double LP, which has been out of print for over 20 years. The sets both contain limited-release demos in addition to previously unreleased tracks.

The complete BBC radio sessions, highlights from three concert broadcasts and over three and a half hours of interviews. Deluxe lift off lid 3-piece cigarette style box and 36 page booklet. Between February 1973 and October 1977, Queen recorded six sessions for the BBC – twenty four new and alternative recordings spanning four albums. They revisited nineteen different songs in all: My Fairy King (the first Queen song ever to be broadcast on radio), Liar, Son And Daughter, Doing All Right, Great King Rat, Modern Times Rock’n’Roll, Ogre Battle, Nevermore, White Queen, See What A Fool I’ve Been (a song that never appeared on any Queen studio album), Now I’m Here, Stone Cold Crazy, Flick Of The Wrist, Tenement Funster, Spread Your Wings, My Melancholy Blues, It’s Late, the only known studio recording of their dramatically different full-band ‘fast’ arrangement of We Will Rock You and the song that became their very first single Keep Yourself Alive. All six sessions have been remastered and feature here together for the very first time.

Created in Besançon, Wurtemberg was an original Progressive rock band very much influenced by classical and Middle-Ages music. Led by Alain Carbonare, musician and internationally famous instrument maker, they were the autors of a unique and quite sought after album in 1980. "Rock Fantasia Opus 9" would unfortunately remain a one-time experience only. However, a second version of the band appeared in the mis-Eighties. The original tapes of "Rock fantasia Opus 10" were recorded between 1984 & 1985 in Vesoul, and they were meant to become a second album that was never released. Those are the same tracks that we suggest you discover today, with two added bonus.

Four solo albums from the guitarist and songwriter Mick Ralphs who was a founder member of two of the most important rock bands of the 1970s; Mott The Hoople and Bad Company. Mick Ralphs wrote many key songs across seven Mott The Hoople albums, followed by six records with Bad Company; these included 'Rock and Roll Queen', 'Ready For Love', 'Can't Get Enough', 'Good Lovin' Gone Bad' and 'Movin' On'. Bad Company took a break following 1982's 'Rough Diamonds', and after a stint playing alongside David Gilmour on his About Face tour, Mick embarked on a solo career in 1984 with 'Take This!' (CD1) which featured bassist Micky Feat and fellow Bad Company founder, drummer Simon Kirke, with a live band that consisted of guitarist Dave "Bucket" Colwell (later to join Ralphs in a reformed Bad Company), Uriah Heep drummer Chris Slade and Ozzy Osbourne keyboard player Lindsay Bridgewater.
