Classical recording centered on the work of the great Russian composer Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, on which the American composer, arranger, trumpeter and director Salvatore Camarata (New Jersey, 1913 to 2005) has made the sellection and orchestral arrangement of 11 topics conducting the Kingsway Symphony Orchestra, with which he also played for Decca a series of classical music albums dedicated to other great composers. This selection of favorites from Tchaikovsky has been harnessed and shaped by Camarata with a resounding orchestral fantasy.

This Zeffirelli production of Verdi’s ever-popular, melodic opera was filmed in February 2002, in Busseto, near Parma, Italy, close to the composer’s home and birthplace.
