20 Original Chart Hits continues British label A Time To Remember's look at the hits of the decade. The tracks featured are a strange mix of novelty, pop, and hard rock tracks that give a very good, if narrow, feel for the times. Narrow because like many of the volumes in the series, there are multiple entries by artists and there is a great deal of overlap from year to year (i.e. the same bands (the Hollies, Deep Purple.) and singers (Shirley Bassey, Olivia Newton-John) showing up on each year's collection).

Official reissue of the 1976 debut by SPRIGUNS (previously known as Spriguns of Tolgus). The band adopted a Fairport-like electric folk-rock sound, capped by Mandy Morton's silky velvet vocals. Electric violin and electric guitars evoke misty ancient moorlands and create a suitable backing for Mandy's beautiful voice. Fabulous.This is one superb UK folk rock album that until now has been only available via bootlegs or expensive Japanese imports.

Red Jasper is one of the forgotten folk prog bands from the early to mid '90's from british scene. Looking for their albums for years , only last year I was able to put my hands on two albums , this one A midsummer's night's dream and the next ine Winter's tale. Biggining their career in late '80's as a folk bad but with a special neo prog elements added here and there. This album was released in 1993 and far as I know draw little attention in prog scene. Red Jasper's music has a celtic atmosphere on some pieces, some folk moments but combined very well with neo prog arrangements.
