Iron Maiden’s eagerly awaited new studio album The Book Of Souls will be released globally on 4th September through Parlophone Records (BMG in the U.S.A.). It was recorded in Paris with their longstanding producer Kevin “Caveman” Shirley in late 2014, with the finishing touches added earlier this year. However, the band decided to delay its release so that vocalist Bruce Dickinson, who was recently given the all-clear from a tumour, would have time to recuperate sufficiently to join in the preparations for the album’s launch.

Michael Schenker is a legendary figure in rock, one of the most gifted and influential guitarists of all time. His work with Scorpions, UFO and the Michael Schenker Group made him a hero to millions of fans and inspired a generation of musicians, including Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, Kirk Hammett of Metallica, and Slash of Guns N’ Roses. And with Michael Schenker Fest, an ambitious and unorthodox project featuring four singers with whom he has worked since 1979 – Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, Robin McAuley and Doogie White – the drive to create new music is based on the same ethos that has shaped Schenker’s whole career, ever since he recorded his first album “Lonesome Crow” with the Scorpions in 1970 at age 15.

Iron Maiden fans rejoice! The band’s much sought after ‘Maiden England ’88' live set will finally make its way to DVD on March 25.
Filmed during the band’s ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son’ tour, the concert film has been a missing piece of the Iron Maiden catalog for a long time. As Maiden manager Ron Smallwood explains, “We’ve been busy upgrading this concert footage for a long time, with our in-house film producer and director Andy Matthews working tirelessly to weave his magic yet again!”
The film was directed and edited by bassist Steve Harris, and the DVD will also include a brand new 5.1 surround mix by producer Kevin Shirley. The band have been revisiting this era on their recent ‘Maiden England World Tour,’ playing a similar set list and utilizing various staging elements from the 1988 tour.
