From their early singles and their 1993 Mercury Music Prize-winning debut album to their break-up in 2003, The London Suede were a fixture in the UK single and album charts, and in the UK music press too. They scored twenty hit singles and five hit albums (three of which debuted at # 1), and a double album of B-sides even charted at # 9.

'Suede' celebrates the 25th anniversary of it's original release, and includes the album; the b-sides; a CD of demos, monitor mixes (several previously unreleased) and the band's first BBC radio session, arranged chronologically; plus a concert from February 1993.

After being declared the "Best New Band In Britain" and having their glam-pop debut album go Gold in a matter of weeks, Suede were under enormous pressure to make their follow-up album just as much of a media event. Although it did not sell on the same scale as their chart-topping debut, Dog Man Star reached number three on the UK Album Chart and was certified as gold by the BPI in November 1994. This digitally remastered and expanded 20th anniversary Blu-Ray Pure Audio edition features the non-album A and B-sides as bonus tracks.

Suede have announced details of their 10th studio album ‘Antidepressants’. Due for release on 5th September via BMG, the album is a milestone achievement that sees the band at the top of their game. It follows the success of their critically-acclaimed ninth top 10 album ‘Autofiction’ released in September 2022, which charted at No.2 on the UK Albums Chart and was their highest-charting release in over 20 years. Suede will celebrate the release of ‘Antidepressants’ with a takeover of London’s Southbank Centre, through a series of exciting live performances kicking off in September, Suede’s four-night residency will commence with two consecutive nights at the Royal Festival Hall on September 13th and 14th, followed on September 17th by an intimate stripped-back performance at the Purcell Room, culminating in a collaboration with the Paraorchestra on September 19th at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
