Relapse Records will release soundtrack album for Joe Lynch’s action thriller Mayhem. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Moore (The Guest, Camera Obscura, Cub, Don’t Knock Twice). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 24, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The first track is already available to download. Mayhem starring Steven Yeun, Samara Weaving, Dallas Mark Roberts, Caroline Chikezie, Mark Stewart Frost and Kerry Fox revolves around an airborne virus infecting the corporate tower of a major law firm on the day an attorney is wrongfully fired. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will be released this fall by RLJ Entertainment.

Increasingly prolific to the point where one wonders whether he might want to go easy on the energy drinks, Steve Moore has been flying the flag for synth-driven soundtrack music for well over a decade now, both as a solo artist and with the reliably extraordinary Zombi. As with 2016’s The Mind’s Eye, Mayhem works both as a paean to all the electronic horror and sci-fi soundtracks of the 70s and 80s and as a genuinely unsettling and bewildering collage of sound and melody in its own right.

Japanese Boogie & Disco Volume 2 is the second volume in the series of Japanese bogie and disco music from Japan released by Midnight Riot. As the title states, all artists are Japanese and if you've never heard it, they will become earworms after hearing it.
