Be Bop Deluxe at the BBC is a 3CD+DVD set that features the work of the English prog rock band while at the Beeb. In total, 39 tracks across the three audio discs take in numerous John Peel sessions and ‘BBC In Concert’ performances, while the DVD includes many Old Grey Whistle Test appearances and footage of numbers played on the ‘Sight and Sound in Concert’ TV programme.

Indie rock band Future Islands have announced a new album called "The Far Field". It is the follow up to their successful 2014 full-length "Singles". Frontman Sam Herring got viral attention for his performance of "Seasons (Waiting On You)" on Letterman. Since then, he has made appearances on recent BADBADNOTGOOD and Clams Casino albums. The band has released "Ran" as the lead single. The album was produced by John Cagelton. The album is out on April 7th through 4AD,

The eight CDs that make up this collection document the second rise of Count Basie's big band. The second band had been created at the urging of Billy Eckstine, who convinced Basie that even though the era of the large jazz-swing orchestra – an era he was an architect of – was by all appearances over, he could make a real go of it with his brand of blues and swing.
