Cybill Shepherd's first ever live CD release, recorded at the Cinegrill at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in June of 2000. The act is a fusion of song and comedy from her thirty year rollercoaster of a career. Cybill is frank, funny and as bold as ever. It includes it all... the laughs, the tears, even cutlery against plates!
Blues-rockers Big Dave & the Ultrasonics have gained popularity for their live show on the Midwestern club circuit. Based in Ann Arbor, MI, the group comprises vocalist and guitarist "Big Dave" Steele, lead guitarist Dave Farzalo, Dave Morris on harmonica, Todd Perkins on bass, drummer Pieter Struyk, and Ben Wilson on keyboards. The band also combines funk and fusion elements on its two albums, Shake It While You Got It (1991) and Love & Money (1994).

What wasn't as well known, except to the band's diehards, was that Martel had an uncanny vocal resemblance to (or at least a baffling ability to channel) the late Queen singer Freddie Mercury. Seemingly by the hand of God, just around the time Downhere was thinking of ending their ministry, a door blew open for Martel: the Queen Extravaganza…
BGO Records has released two early ‘70s albums by the legendary John Lee Hooker. While admittedly not his best albums, they both still show this man did more than play the blues, he lived them. On these offerings, Hooker pumped out a slow moving steam engine of blues music that never picks up too much speed, yet keeps things chooglin’ along just fine.
The mark of a great live album is how much it makes you feel like you were there for the show. Jorn's "Live In Black" puts you front row center and then blasts you back in your seat with a potent dose of old-school metal. If you're looking to take in a great classic metal show at home, Jorn's "Live In Black" is just what you're looking for. Let the soaring vocals, killer guitars and roar of the crowd turn your living room into an arena.
