CARAVAN were the other half of the WILDE FLOWERS - the SOFT MACHINE being the other - that originated in Canterbury, Kent. The band itself was originally formed in early 1968 by guitarist/vocalist Pye HASTINGS, keyboardist Dave SINCLAIR, bassist/vocalist Richard SINCLAIR (later of HATFIELD & THE NORTH, NATIONAL HEALTH, etc.), and drummer Richard COUGHAN. All four members of CARAVAN were, at one time or another, in that band. They were a leading exponent of what became known as "the Canterbury sound". “In the land of Grey and Pink” is one of Caravan’s finest albums, possibly THE finest. While the centrepiece is the side long “Nine feet underground”, the complete album offers a melodic and coherent 40 minutes. A truly superb album, worthy of any music collection (prog or otherwise!).

This feature-length movie is a re-edited version of the first few episodes of the TV series. The story line concerns a spaceship full of survivors of a doomed planet who are headed to the Earth. Led by Commander Adama (Lorne Greene), they encounter villainous robots, threatening their journey to find Earth.

12-CD LP-sized box set. He might not have been the King Of Rock 'n' Roll but Pat Boone was certainly King Of The Hit Parade during the rock 'n' roll era. He sung ballads with a beat and up-tempo pop tunes such as I'll Be Home, Don't Forbid Me, Love Letters In The Sand, Why Baby Why and I Almost Lost My Mind. Hits like this kept him in the charts every week from 1955-1959! This boxed set contains Pat's rare 1953 Republic recordings and every single DOT recording made during the Fifties - over 320 tracks in total.
