White Light/White Heat is the 1968 album by American group The Velvet Underground. This was the first digital version of the album released in 1986 by PolyGram and is the standard stereo version of the album, remastered by Greg Calbi with assistance from Dennis M. Drake.

The Mothers of Invention, led by Frank Zappa, unleashed the audacious debut album, Freak Out!, in June 1966. It was the first rock concept album and one of the first double rock albums, totally unique with its mixture of pastiche and musical collage. In many ways, it was a milestone of musical history in terms of both music and recording technique.

Linden’s songs have been covered by The Band, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Keb’ Mo’, and Colin James. His new release includes guests Charlie Musselwhite, Reese Wyman and Amy Helm.
