Two of a Kind

is a 1983 romantic comedy film starring and . The original music score was composed by . Five years after the smash-hit musical of Grease, Olivia and John Travolta teamed up again to make Two Of a Kind. The two had being looking for a script to do together for a year and with over 30 studied, it seemed their film together would never be made. Either one of them liked the plot but the other didn't or vice versa. However, when John read the script to Two Of A Kind he called up Olivia and said 'If you don't like this one, I don't think we'll ever find another movie to do together.' Olivia did, so Two Of A Kind was born.

Both Porter and Dolly gel together perfectly – often singing together, not trading back and forth as much – in ways that only make the lyrics of the songs resonate more strongly. Titles include "I Know You're Married But I Love You Still", "Daddy Was An Old Time Preacher Man", "A Good Understanding", "Let's Live For Tonight", "Once More", "Fight & Scratch", and the tear-jerker "Ragged Angel".

Two Of A Kind was a comparatively low-key affair by Chain's standards. Of the four cuts featuring Madison and Beauford from Muddy's band, only the title track (written by Madison) and Little Walter's "Blues With A Feeling" provide any real excitement, despite the typically robust backing that Chain supplies. And some observers at the time found "Elephant" tediously self-indulgent. The album sold in only moderate numbers and by the time of its release in December, Chain had undergone further personnel shifts, Little Goose being the first to leave. He went on to considerable success with the Kevin Borich Express and later formed his own eponymous outfit. His replacement, Tony Lunt, was formerly drummer for Carson and Alta Mira, and he brought his bandmate, the in-demand keyboardist Mal Logan with him.
