It features songs by Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Herbie Mann, Carmen McRae, and many more. This was released by Warner Strategic Marketing.

Zorba The Greek: The Best Instrumentals & Songs is a 2005 compilation of a form of Greek music known as Laïkó. The music is uncredited so it remains who performs what, meaning if it is a series of musicians or just one group entirely. Actual release date is also known, it may be from sometime in the 1990's, perhaps 2005 or even much older. This was released by Super Sound.

The Ramones may or may not have invented punk rock, but they were inarguably the most important band in punk history, creating the stylistic prototype that would be followed by countless bands who emerged in their wake. They were informed by the thunder and flash of the Who and the MC5, the speed and primitivism of Iggy and the Stooges, and the alternately sullen and goofy musings of '60s garage rock, but the Ramones synthesized their influences into something raw and revolutionary, a fury of pounding rhythms and downstroked guitars married to rudimentary melodies and comically absurd lyrics that both mocked and celebrated popular culture and teenage life. The Ramones were tuneful, aggressive, and challenging in their embrace of minimalist fury, and while bands from the Clash and the Sex Pistols to Rancid and Green Day would build on their formula, it's essentially impossible to imagine any of those bands, or punk as we know it, without the Ramones' guiding example.

The best British folk-rock band of the late '60s, Fairport Convention did more than any other act to develop a truly British variation on the folk-rock prototype by drawing upon traditional material and styles indigenous to the British Isles. While the revved-up renditions of traditional British folk tunes drew the most critical attention, the group members were also (at least at the outset) talented songwriters as well as interpreters. They were comfortable with conventional harmony-based folk-rock as well as tunes that drew upon more explicitly traditional sources, and boasted some of the best singers and instrumentalists of the day.

Part based on the club listings of the early '70s and part based on the club listings of today, this compilation has the dance floor groovers with a bit of strum, a bit of stomp, and a whole lotta Glam. You've probably never heard of any of the artists, but those collecting the Lipsmackin' series appear to be used to that now. Some acts do have interesting links, Jimmy Jukebox is that Nut Rocker Kim Fowley, 'Shout It Out; was written and produced by John Springate of the Glitter Band, 'Little Bit O'Soul' is a '60s Northern Soul classic by the Music Explosion given the glam treatment, the Jets keyboard player was also in Cockney Rebel, Roxy Roller was re-recorded by the singer in Sweeney Todd, 'Nick Gilder', who had a solo hit with it in 1977, 'Good Time Fanny' was written and produced by Andy Scott of the Sweet. Unplugged is the first live album by American singer Alicia Keys. It was released on October 7, 2005 by J Records. Recorded as part of the television program MTV Unplugged on July 4, 2005 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the album includes songs from her first two studio albums Songs in A Minor (2001) and The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003).
