A focus on life in a gang, Boulevard Nights portrays the dangers of street violence. Richard Yniguez plays a young Chicano who tries to get out of the gang, but he keeps finding himself drawn back into it.

Xuefei Yang was born in Beijing, now based in the UK, acclaimed as one of the world’s finest classical guitarists. She's won numerous prizes in music competitions. Having previously recorded albums of Bach and Britten, on this disc Yang has chosen to explore her own cultural roots, managing to bring different narratives and styles together with great success. This is her debut on Decca label and the album features nineteen pieces ranging from Chinese folk melody to Jazz hits and Spanish guitar to Classics.

Anat Cohen’s newest release is Quartetinho: Bloom, the second album by her foursome Quartetinho (pronounced “quartet-CHIN-yo”). The band name is Portuguese for “little quartet,” although the players make a big, color-rich sound, each an ace on multiple instruments: Anat on various clarinets, Tal Mashiach on bass and guitar, Vitor Gonçalves on piano and accordion, and James Shipp on vibraphone and percussion.

The unforgettable Paco De Lucia, has recorded many albums with other guitar artists, among them with his compatriots and friends, the virtuosi Paco Pena and Ramon De Algeciras. This excellent double album, unites two LP's: "Paco De Lucia y Paco Pena - Paco Doble" of 1969 and "Paco De Lucia y Ramon De Algeciras - Dos Guitarras Flamencas en America Latina" of 1967.
