Build It January 2018

Each of the musicians in this group have spent years playing blues, soul, jazz and rock music around the country. The band members have known each other forever and talked off-and-on about how much fun it would be working together - some day. Finally, the time was right and The Stevee Wellons Band (SWB) came to life. Working together has led the group in some unexpected directions. The Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania gave SWB the honor of representing the region for the 2016 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. That experience provided encouragement and inspiration for the group to work on creating their own mix of blues and soul music. The band is taking their music out on the club and concert circuit in Pennsylvania, and working toward their first full-length CD. We're in the studio in January. When first scribbling these notes, I thought it'd be fun to list all the musicians I've heard whose music sounded better with Martin Wind playing bass. It's a long list, a Who's Who of musicians I love. OK, as many as I can type in one breath: Dena DeRose Matt Wilson Scott Robinson Dave Stryker John Scofield Joe Locke Anat Cohen Ingrid Jensen Ted Rosenthal Bill Mays Gary Smulyan … and then some.

Jan Gerfast, guitarist, singer and composer, has been on the international blues and rock scene for a long time. He has developed his own unique style and sound: " Groovy Blues". If you enjoy listening to the guitar improvising over groovy bluesriffs, this is it!

LOS ANGELES, CA- UK recording artist Tom Forest is a collaboration between British singer/guitarist Tom Gracefield and his wife. writer/producer Isabel Gracefield and their debut album, “Hope” released on January 12, 2018. “Hope” is an atmospherically moody album. Lyrically, the songs touch upon a whole range of human emotions and subject matter.

Turin Brakes don't hang about. The estimable London 4-piece release their eighth studio album January 26th 2018, followed by a major UK tour.

Formed in 2009, the band released an EP in 2013 consisting of four songs that made a great impact among AOR-fans all over the world. Shortly afterwards Care Of Night signed a deal with AOR Heaven and released their debutalbum "Connected" in January 2015, receiving great accolades. A triumphant performance at Nottingham festival 2015 cemented the popularity. Then came silence, members departing and other aspects of life as we know it. Some three years later, the band awoke from the hiatus.
