Heaven Up Here is the second album by the English post-punk band Echo & the Bunnymen, released on 30 May 1981. In June 1981, Heaven Up Here became Echo & the Bunnymen's first Top 10 release when it reached number 10 on the UK Albums Chart. A generally well received album by fans in the United Kingdom and by critics, Heaven Up Here won the "Best Dressed LP" and "Best Album" awards at the 1981 NME Awards. The album has also been listed at number 471 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Korey Dane grew up in Long Beach, California, as a skateboarder kid with a gearhead father and an English teacher mother and with a guitar he learned to love as he learned to play, letting a few inherited books and a handful of records lead him away from home and into the great American unknown. That’s where he found his last album Youngblood, born from months exploring and hitchhiking and putting songs together piece by piece, then presented as promise and potential to veteran producer and A&R man Tony Berg (X, Public Image Ltd.). He set up in Berg’s Zeitgeist Studios and with a crew of top-notch sessioneers just like they used to do with the Wrecking Crew during L.A.’s golden age he hammered Youngblood into something real, releasing it with Innovative Leisure in the fall of 2015.

EMIs massive five-disc collection of 101 80s Hits is about as budget as you can get without putting the thing together yourself at home. The 101 tracks are heavy on the U.K. hits, so for every international smash like Karma Chameleon Culture Club and Walking on Sunshine Katrina & the Waves theres a Kayleigh Marillion and a Good Heart Feargal Sharkey. That said, it's nice to hear something other than Queen's We Will Rock You, and hearing Limahl spin his Neverending Story next to Whitesnake is kind of fun, but these collections are a dime a dozen! The Human League are an English synthpop band formed in Sheffield. Dont Dream Its Over is a song by the Australian rock band Crowded House.
