The Clash's Sound System is the band’s re-mastered recorded works collected together for the first time. Contained within classic boombox packaging designed by Paul Simonon, this boxset contains the band’s five seminal studio albums in their original eight-disc format, newly re-mastered by The Clash; a further three discs featuring demos, non-album singles, rarities and B-sides; a DVD with previously unseen footage by both Don Letts and Julien Temple, original promo videos and live footage; an owner’s manual booklet; reprints of the band’s original Armagideon Times fanzine as well as a brand new edition curated and designed by Paul Simonon; and merchandise including dog tags, badges, stickers and an exclusive Clash poster.

Fifty years ago, Cambridge city council stumped up the funds for the first folk festival in the atmospheric grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall. A couple of hundred people gathered around one precarious stage to see a motley selection of singers, including Paul Simon, who earned £15 for his troubles. The whole festival had an unmistakably retro feel, drawing heavily on the spirit of its own history. Two returning heroes, Richard Thompson and Loudon Wainwright, showed that one man, a guitar and a savage set of lyrics can still tear the place apart. Thompson’s daughter, Kami, and her husband James Walbourne’s band, The Rails, followed their outstanding debut album Fair Warning with a confident live set.

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paul McCann from Cavan, has been playing in various bands since 1996, including Aine Cahill’s band along with the power pop band The Plan and also the Johnny Cash tribute Get Rhythm. No stranger to the live scene, McCann has performed with Pugwash, The Strypes, Duncan Maitland (Picturehouse) and Nelson Bragg (Brian Wilson Band/Beach Boys), among others.
An extremely talented musician, McCann plays most of the instrumentation on the album, including - Vocals, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Electric Bass, Double Bass, Slide Guitar, Piano, Mellotron, Harmonica, Kazoo and Trumpet! ‘Here Comes The Rapture’ is pure pop rock, with infectious, upbeat melodies and guitar driven hooks throughout.

Kill Devil Hill is a heavy metal supergroup founded in 2011 around the talents of drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, Dio), bassist Rex Brown (Pantera), guitarist Mark Zavon, and vocalist Jason Bragg, Kill Devil Hill, named for a North Carolina coastal town with a long history of piracy (as in rum, swordplay, and loot), mine both the past and present, resulting in a powerful blend of groove-laden hard rock, brooding post-grunge, and classic mainstream metal that has drawn comparisons to artists like Alice In Chains and System Of A Down. The band's eponymous debut was released through SPV/Steamhammer in May 2012.

MUTTER SLATER was the frontman, singer and flute player with STACKRIDGE who have gigged solidly for decades (300 plus gigs a year for three years in the 70's) before calling it a day in 2015. Seth Lakeman takes a break from the Robert Plant musical juggernaut in Autumn 2018 to release his ninth studio album 'The Well Worn Path' on 26 October before heading out on tour in November with a new band line-up. Seth found time at the beginning of the year, in between charging around the globe with Robert and his band, the Sensational Space Shifters, to record his new studio album The Well Worn Path. It's a return to a no-nonsense, organic, classic folk-rock approach with hints of Fairport Convention, Neil Young, Nick Cave and Billy Bragg plus Lakeman's trademark foot-stomping, fiddle bow-shredding and soaring vocals. Seth brought in top producer Ben Hillier and along with long-time collaborator Ben Nicholls on upright and electric bass he was joined by new boys Kit Hawes on electric and acoustic guitar and drummer Evan Jenkins. One of the finest female folk voices Kathryn Roberts also contributes sublime backing vocals to the album.
