or FLAC (carefully converted & encoded to tracks) 24bit/96 kHz | Full Scans included | 1,17 GB

The Green Album is the debut album by English rock musician Eddie Jobson, released by Capitol Records in 1983. It is officially credited to Eddie Jobson and Zinc, Zinc being identified in press releases as a backing band consisting of Michael Cuneo (guitars), Jerry Watts (bass), and Michael Barsimanto (drums); however, none of the members of Zinc played on more than half the songs on the album, and only four tracks feature the entire group. Because of this, The Green Album is widely regarded as an Eddie Jobson solo album, similarly to how Runt is considered a Todd Rundgren solo album despite being credited to Runt. Jobson, a former member of Roxy Music, had also previously played with Curved Air, Frank Zappa, UK, and Jethro Tull.

One of the best Hollywood musicals ever, and one of the top selling LPs after its release back in l964, this seemed a natural for reissue in the new SACD format. As expected, the fidelity is not exactly audiophile-level, coming from a Hollywood soundstage, and especially of that vintage…

Throughout her career Kimiko recorded numerous jazz albums in collaboration with some of the most renowned musicians in the jazz field, such as Billy Higgins, Gil Evans, Stan Getz, Oliver Nelson, and Herbie Hancock. "Yellow Carcass in the Blue" is considered an important album by Kimiko Kasai in which she really began to show her original qualities. At the same time, as the "double bill" credit suggests, it was also a showcase for the Kosuke Mine Quartet, which plays two tunes on their own.
Johnny Winter - The Best Of Johnny Winter (2002) [Reissue 2003] PS3 ISO + DSD64 + Hi-Res FLAC

Johnny Winter - The Best Of Johnny Winter (2002) [Reissue 2003]

or FLAC (carefully converted & encoded to tracks) 24bit/96 kHz | Full Scans included | 1,74 GB

Columbia/Legacy's 2002 release The Best of Johnny Winter concentrates solely on the guitarist's early recordings for Columbia, which are often (and deservedly) considered his best work. Nearly all of the 16 selections here were recorded between 1969 and 1971 – there's a stray cut from 1973, plus two cuts from 1979, dating from his time on Blue Sky – and all of them showcase Winter at his best, not just as a fiery blues-rock guitarist, but as a band leader. While there are a few items that may be relatively rare here, there is no unreleased material, just selections from Winter at his prime, and this collection does a very good job of summarizing that peak succinctly and enjoyably.
