2011 expanded reissue of "Heavy Hitters", a 2005 covers album featuring Schenker and a revolving all-star cast of guest musicians. This latest re-release, entitled "By Invitation Only" contains all the previous cover tracks supplemented with the IRON MAIDEN cover "Run To The Hills" with Robin McAuley, a track which originally appeared on the IRON MAIDEN tribute "Numbers From The Beast".

“The Endless Jam” by the Schenker-Pattison Summit might be considered its companion album. Schenker is of course Michael Schenker, fabulous guitarist of Scorpions, UFO and MSG. Vocalist Davey Pattison was Ronny Montrose’s sidekick in Gamma, who later joined Robin Trower’s band. Backed by Varney’s regular rhythm section of Aynsley Dunbar and Gunter Nezhoda, they go back in time to the 60’s and 70’s and tackle some of the best and best known tracks of the time. And to come straight to the point: this effort is so much better than Pat Travers’s.

Perfect Timing is the first album by the McAuley Schenker Group. It was the first collaboration between Michael Schenker and Robin McAuley (ex-Grand Prix and Far Corporation), resulting in Schenker's first top 100 US hit with the song "Gimme Your Love."…
