This book presents the proceedings of the International Conference on Emerging Research in Computing, Information, Communication and Applications (ERCICA) 2023. The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, professional engineers and scientists, educators and technologists to discuss, debate and promote research and technology in the upcoming areas of computing, information, communication and their applications. Some of the topics include the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless communications, image and video processing, parallel and distributed computing, and smart grid applications, among others. An Introduction to Wavelet Analysis provides a comprehensive presentation of the conceptual basis of wavelet analysis, including the construction and application of wavelet bases. The book develops the basic theory of wavelet bases and transforms without assuming any knowledge of Lebesgue integration or the theory of abstract Hilbert spaces.

Hier hoeven we dus totaal niet moeilijk over te doen. Er is hier “gewoon” sprake van een lekker bluesrock album. Afkomstig van The Rex Granite Band ut Omaha, Nebraska. De band werd in 2002 opgericht en bracht een jaar later het debuutalbum ‘Rollin’ And Tumblin’ uit. Na een herstart in 2015 is het nu dus tijd voor het tweede album van Rex Granite (gitaar), Sarah Benck (zang en gitaar), James Carrig (bas) en Anton Davis (drums). Vrijwel alles klopt op dit album.

The Jacquelines maakten een sterke entree met ‘Gee Oh Gee’ (Sony Music Belgium) gereleased in januari 2013. De band was niet van de radio weg te slaan. De single ‘Hypochondria’ zit nog in het collectieve geheugen van velen, alsook het nummer ‘Gee oh Gee’ met de bijbehorende aanstekelijke clip. Vlaanderen danst zich nietsvermoedend een breuk op een song met een boodschap. Ook andere nummers zoals ‘Shiny Sara’ en ‘Japanese Boogie’ doen het goed op de radio. Sindsdien hebben The Jacquelines niet stilgezeten.

This book could have been entitled “Analysis and Geometry.” The authors are addressing the following issue: Is it possible to perform some harmonic analysis on a set? Harmonic analysis on groups has a long tradition. Here we are given a metric set X with a (positive) Borel measure ? and we would like to construct some algorithms which in the classical setting rely on the Fourier transformation.
