Le Distrait stars Pierre Richard (who also directed) as a stumblebum ad-agency employee. Unable to get by in the "real" world, he opts for his own fantasy world, in which everything goes right for him and he always gets the girl. After several blithe moments, the businessman manages to find success and romance for real. Filmed in 1970, The Daydreamer was released in the U.S. in 1975, after the success of The Tall Blonde Man With One Black Shoe.
Pierre Malaquet, qui mérite incontestablement le titre de roi des gaffeurs, est engagé dans l'importante agence de publicité d'Alexandre Guiton, pour l'unique et bonne raison que sa mère, Glycia, est la maîtresse de ce dernier. Distrait impénitent, Pierre a une imagination fertile, mais frisant souvent le mauvais goût et le morbide.

Issues of class, gender roles and parenting bubble to the surface in this 19th-century tale about a shepherd girl (Isild Le Besco) who farms off her own newborn to a wet nurse in the countryside so that she can earn high wages nursing the infant of a wealthy couple. The two young mothers soon become friends, but trouble arises when the bourgeois hubby takes issue with his wife fraternizing with the help. Émilie Dequenne and Grégoire Colin star.
En 1877, Angèle-Marie, jeune paysanne, est engagée comme «nourrice sur lieu» dans une famille bourgeoise pour allaiter un nouveau-né. Barnie aime sa femme, sa maîtresse et son amant. Son lieu de travail est à Londres, celui de résidence en France. Le jour de son anniversaire, il reçoit trois cadeaux identiques, chacun venant respectivement de ses trois amours: trois week-end en amoureux à Venise en Orient-Express, le premier mai. Pour préserver son mariage, il renvoie les deux billets à ses amoureux clandestins. Cependant, Barnie se trompe en les postant. Ainsi, Mark reçoit l'enveloppe destinée à Margot, et vice-versa. Les deux amants, mécontents se rendent au bureau de Barnie et font connaissance. Ensemble, Ils décident de rendre une petite visite à Barnie, en France, où ils rencontrent… sa femme!

(Barnie is a conventional businessman, with a home in Calais and a job in London. He has an adoring wife, a teenage daughter, a young mistress, Margot, and a gay lover, Mark. Barnie’s love life is complicated but he manages to keep it together, until the day he receives the same birthday present from Margot, Mark and his daughter – a trip to Venice on the Orient Express. Deciding to take his wife on the luxury train journey, he writes letters to Mark and Margot declining their offers, but these somehow get mixed up. Offended, Mark and Margot set out for Barnie’s house in France to tell a few home truths. They could not have chosen a worse time – Barnie is about to discover that his seemingly loyal wife Lucy has been having an affair with their daughter’s history teacher, Alexandre… )

Alors qu'il rentre chez lui au volant de son camion, le chauffeur routier Jean Chape roule sur un corps. Pensant avoir percuté un piéton, il se rend au commissariat le plus proche. L'autopsie révèle que la victime était déjà morte avant l'accident. Bien connue des services de police, la victime n'est autre que Scopo, un gangster notoire. Bientôt la bande du malfrat harcèle Jean Chape pour récupérer une mallette contenant 5 millions que Scopo avait en sa possession au moment de sa mort. Avec l'aide de sa maîtresse, la douce Alice, et à un vieil ami, Serin, il tient tête au gang.

Caligula, the young heir to throne of the syphilis-ridden, half-mad Emperor Tiberius, thinks he has received a bad omen after a blackbird flies into his room early one morning. Shortly afterward, Macro, the head of the Praetorian Guards, appears to tell the young man that his grandfather (Tiberius) demands that he report at once to the Isle of Capri, where he has been residing for a number of years with close friend Nerva, Claudius a dim-witted relative, and Caligula's younger stepbrother Gemellus, Tiberius' favourite. Fearing assassination, Caligula is afraid to leave, but his beloved sister Drusilla convinces him to go.
