Début de l'année 1949, en France. La guerre d'Indochine a commencé depuis trois ans à l'autre bout du monde. Philippe, Gérard, Pedro sont des amis d'enfance. Phuong et Fabienne se sont connues sur les bancs de l'école des Demoiselles de la Légion d'honneur. L'une est la maîtresse de l'un des garçons, l'autre deviendra son épouse. Ils ont 20 ans et le monde s'ouvre à eux. Tous se retrouvent à l'occasion du mariage de Philippe de Beauséjour, mais dès le lendemain, le cours de leur histoire va tragiquement changer.

The Daydreamer (Le Distrait) stars Pierre Richard (who also directed) as a stumblebum ad-agency employee. Unable to get by in the "real" world, he opts for his own fantasy world, in which everything goes right for him and he always gets the girl. After several blithe moments, the businessman manages to find success and romance for real. Filmed in 1970, The Daydreamer was released in the U.S. in 1975, after the success of the Pierre Richard comedy The Tall Blonde Man With One Black Shoe. The film was also released as Absent-Minded.

Vincent is a secretary of state, a powerful man, not bad looking, rather elegant, who likes his food and wine. Odile, his mistress, a very beautiful young woman, is intelligent, clear-headed, charming.

Un bichon gâté découvre la vie cruelle des chiens errants d'Ushuaïa. Un documentaire surprenant sur les ressources insoupçonnées de la gent canine. L'histoire commence à Buenos Aires, où Gordo, toutou choyé par sa riche maîtresse, décide un jour de prendre la fuite. Après maintes péripéties, il arrive à Ushuaïa, à l'extrême sud du continent américain, où il découvre l'univers impitoyable des chiens errants et leur combat quotidien pour survivre. Uwe Müller alterne séquences mises en scène et séquences documentaires pour dépeindre le comportement de la gent canine, sa psychologie et ses étonnantes capacités d'adaptation.
