This concert on November 3rd was professionally filmed, recorded and released in Japan (with some editing). The entire show has unfortunately never surfaced ("Body Language", for example, was cut from the video). The Queen On Fire 2 DVD set released last November included several numbers from this show as a bonus, and "Calling All Girls" is used at bumper music for the gallery.

Freddie Mercury - The Freddie Mercury Album (1992) Music

The Freddie Mercury Album is a posthumous solo project with material from Queen frontman and vocalist Freddie Mercury released in 1992, to observe the anniversary of his death. The album is mainly made up of remixes from his past releases, as well as the original versions of "Barcelona," "Love Kills," "Exercises in Free Love," and "The Great Pretender." A week later, The Great Pretender, its US counterpart, was released. There were numerous producers who had permission from Jim Beach to use the original master tapes. Reinhold Mack, who is not credited as being involved, was hired to oversee the project. The album was released by Hollywood Records on November 24, 1992. The US album differs from its UK counterpart (aside from a different running order) by replacing the original versions of "The Great Pretender" and "Love Kills" with remixes, featuring a slightly altered ending of the "Mr. Bad Guy" remix, and replacing "Barcelona" with a remix of "My Love Is Dangerous."

A musical dedication to Queen Elizabeth 1, The Triumphs of Oriana displays the talents of English songwriters, long-overshadowed by their European counterparts, conjuring up an image of an idealised and mythical England of old.

Celia Cruz was a Havana, Cuba born salsa singer, and was one of the most successful Salsa performers of the 20th century, with twenty-three gold albums to her name. She was renowned internationally as the "Queen of Salsa" as well as "La Guarachera de Cuba". On this CD, released on the NY-based Seeco Tropical Archives in 1991, she is accompanied by "La Sonora Matancera" band. Recorded in 50s - 60s.
