Lifetracks is the debut solo album from the endlessly inventive Tom Middleton. Almost a decade in the making, the album draws inspiration from Eno, Debussy and The Orb, but equally Tom's native Cornish landscape and the liberating experiences of travel. Emotional, melodic and inspirational, this is indeed a soundtrack for living. Over the last 15 years Tom Middleton has earned an enviable reputation as a producer, composer, DJ, compiler and one of the most original minds to emerge from the dance revolution of the early 90s. His work as one half of the groundbreaking electronica groups Global Communication & Jedi Knights, as well as his in demand DJ sets are the stuff of legend among fans of electronic music as well as his fellow artists…

It's a two plus hours survey of British indie music in 1992 and as expected, there's a mixed bag of gems, nostalgia, and iffy detritus that hasn't stood the test of time. But with any festival, the ups and downs are part of the experience. You can't expect to like everything, and the fun is in soaking up the atmosphere, discovering new bands, and confirming why your favourite artists are in fact your favourites. That was all true when I first heard this album back in the 90's. As a snapshot of they way things really were in 1992, this album is a priceless artifact that I never get tired of returning to.

Originally released in October 1995, the band’s seventh album, ‘Erasure’ was produced by Thomas Fehlmann of The Orb and Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Wire, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and mixed by the legendary Francois Kevorkian (Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode) Featuring the singles ‘Stay With Me’, ’Fingers & Thumbs (Cold Summer’s Day)’ and ‘Rock Me Gently’ (featuring Diamanda Galas), the deluxe 2CD will be released in hard back book format with exclusive photos by Herbie Knott and brand new sleeve notes by Electronic Sound’s Mat Smith. CD1 features the original album, whilst CD2 includes 15 tracks including 4 brand new remixes, classic archive mixes, original B-Sides, live recordings, demos and rarities.
