With a musical vision that is at the same time dark and ominous, yet stylish and sophisticated, Univers Zero are one of the most unique and influential bands ever to be associated with progressive rock, and the undisputed creators of the genre known as 'chamber rock'. Getting their inspiration from such diverse sources as rock, jazz, European folk and classical music (both ancient and modern), they have forged a distinctive sound that has received widespread critical acclaim, as well as influencing a vast number of contemporary avant-garde bands and ensembles.
Hailing from Belgium, the band was formed in 1973 by drummer Daniel Denis and trumpeter Claude Deron, with the original name of Necronomicon - though this was changed to Univers Zero (after a book by Belgian novelist Jacques Sternberg) in 1974…

The debut album from Quadro Nuevo has already become a classic: Tangos and waltzes, flamenco and ballads full of the joy of life and Southern European nostalgia. The soundtrack for the last glass of red wine of the evening! All four musicians are fully capable of carrying the lead, but more often than not the bass plays a traditional role of keeping a strict time while the accordion lays a swaying bed for the guitar and saxophone to float above like playful birds.

…Again I am very impressed by this new Ange line-up, what an enthousiastic and inspired band, for me it's obvious that they enjoy playing the music and they are even seems honoured to support the charismatic French progrock legend Christian Decamps!..

Vincent Larderet is a Steinway Artist who has given solo recitals at many of the world’s premier piano festivals and concert halls. He has played chamber music with the likes of Sol Gabetta, Emmanuelle Bertrand and Michel Dalberto, and the present release marks his debut on Piano Classics.

This is a Great Classical piece for the lovers of classical, as well as the ones who may hate it. These Adagios CDs get beter and better each time there is a new release. I must warn you there some good as well as some bad ones. There is a certain Adagio flavor for everyones.

Self-taught French artist-composer of Italian origin, Michel Pepe, born in 1962 in Paris, France and is considered in many countries as one of the most talented music composers Relaxation and Wellness. He began studying piano at age 7 years and after a few years, he learned guitar and writing music.
