War and Faith: a coupling that was not only related to Crusaders but to many aspects during the Renaissance and the early Baroque. And both War and Faith had a common denominator in the music. This disc tries to reconstitute the music which escorted warriors before, during and after two of those battles which stained Europe with blood in the 16th century.

Mutoid Man, the hardcore metal outfit featuring members of Converge and Cave In, is gearing up to release a new album called War Moans. The follow-up to 2015’s Bleeder is due out June 2nd via Sargent House and marks their second overall. The new LP spans 12 tracks, featuring titles like “Bone Chain”, “Date with the Devil”, and “Irons in the Fire”. Collaborators who hit the studio alongside Mutoid Man include former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman, Cave In member Adam McGrath, Chelsea Wolfe, and Ben Chisholm.

War of the Wizards was the sixth album by the German heavy metal band Stormwitch, released in 1992. The album is a concept album with strong references to The Lord of the Rings, however, due to copyright reasons, character's names have been changed. For example, Aragorn has become "Aaron" and Arwen has become "Arleen".
