Cold War Kids are back with their upcoming sixth album ‘L.A. Divine’. Cold War Kids (Formed 2004) are an American Indie Rock band from California.

'In War and Pieces' is the 13th studio release from German Thrash heavy hitters SODOM, and sees a return to the early sound of SODOM. Don't let that statement fool you, this is no throwback album by any means, It blends modern production (without feeling overly produced), with the classic SODOM style.

After her 2009 covers album Schallplatte-Nied Opleggt, German singer Ina Müller's 2011 record, Das Wär Dein Lied Gewesen, is more of a proper follow-up to her 2008 hit album Liebe Macht Taub. Müller offers several new humorous stories on relationships ("Fremdgehen"), tabloids ("Paparazzia"), the Internet ("Podkarsten"), and disappointing men (the title track), presented with a guitar- and piano-based pop sound which incorporates some elements of rock and country. The album reached number two on the German charts.

War Child was Jethro Tull's first album after two chart-toppers, Thick as a Brick and A Passion Play, and was one of those records that was a hit the day it was announced (it was certified platinum based on pre-orders, the last Tull album to earn platinum record status). It never made the impression of its predecessors, however, as it was a return to standard-length songs following two epic-length pieces. It was inevitable that the material would lack power, if only because the opportunity for development that gave Thick as a Brick and A Passion Play some of their power. Additionally, the music was no longer quite able to cover for the obscurity of Tull's lyrics ("Two Fingers" being the best example). The title track is reasonably successful, but "Queen and Country" seems repetitive and pointless…

Sweeping and Bombastic Symphonic Metal Masterpiece. On their fourth album, the Austrian Symphonic Metal band dives deep into long forgotten centuries and draws the listeners attention to historical personalities like Henry VIII of England, Napoleon or Alexander the Great. Numerous concerts have matured the band's songwriting skills and the interaction between the individual musicans. This is the reason why "War of Ages" is filled with excellent and characteristic compositions and world-class refrains, for which the term "catchy" would be an understatement. The mixture of remarkable riffs, perfect timed variations from symphonic passages up to ballads, shows SERENITY's ability to write haunting songs. The band has reached their musical and lyrical height and in particular Georg Neuhauser impresses with his best vocal performance so far! Friends of AVANTASIA or KAMELOT have to make sure to give this album spin!
